Magnus René, President and CEO of Arcam AB (publ) (“Arcam” or the “Company”), and Johan Brandt, CFO and deputy CEO of the Company have both chosen to terminate their respective employment agreements with the Company. Magnus René has been CEO of Arcam since 2001 and Johan Brandt has been CFO of the Company since 2012. Magnus René has a notice period of 6 months and will remain in his position until a new CEO is appointed or at the latest until June 3, 2018. Johan Brandt has a notice period of 3 months and will remain in his position until a new CFO is appointed or at the latest until April 30, 2018.
The Board of Directors of Arcam AB (publ) ("Arcam" or the "Company") has resolved to initiate a process to explore and evaluate strategic alternatives regarding DiSanto Technology Inc. (“DTI”), to strengthen its focus and capabilities within both Additive Manufacturing and conventional manufacturing. As part of this process, the Company intends to consider a range of strategic and structural options, which may include, among other things, a restructuring, full or partial separation of DTI via a spin-off, sale, joint venture, strategic collaboration or other transaction.
After the completion of the rights issue, the number of shares and votes in Arcam Aktiebolag (publ) ("Arcam") increased by 4,109,286 in November 2017.
The result of Arcam Aktiebolag's (publ) (“Arcam” or the “Company”) rights issue, for which the subscription period ended on November 9, 2017, indicates that 4,034,116 ordinary shares, corresponding to 98.2 percent of the offered ordinary shares, were subscribed for by exercise of subscription rights. Additionally, applications for subscription without subscription rights of 1,541,367 ordinary shares, corresponding to approximately 37.5 percent of the offered ordinary shares, have been received. Accordingly, the rights issue is fully subscribed. Through the rights issue, Arcam will receive proceeds amounting to approximately MSEK 986 before issue costs.
Arcam AB, supplier of Additive Manufacturing ("AM") equipment and part of GE Additive, participates at Formnext with AM systems through Arcam EBM, metal powders through AP&C and orthopedic contract manufacturing through DTI. Arcam, GE Additive and Concept Laser will exhibit together at Formnext displaying their broad combined offerings to the market.
Arcam AB (publ) ("Arcam" or the "Company") announced, on the 10 October 2017, that the Board of Directors resolved to launch a preferential rights issue of 4,109,286 ordinary shares with preferential rights for the Company's existing shareholders (the "Rights Issue"), with the support from the approval by the Annual General Meeting 16 June 2017. Accordingly, Arcam's Board of Directors have prepared a prospectus, which today has been approved and registered by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority ("SFSA").
The Board of Directors of Arcam Aktiebolag (publ) (“Arcam” or the “Company”) has, pursuant to the authorization granted by the annual general meeting on 16 June 2017, resolved on a new share issue of a maximum of 4,109,286 ordinary shares with preferential right for the Company’s existing shareholders (the “Rights Issue”). If the Rights Issue is fully subscribed, the Company will be provided with approximately MSEK 986 before deduction of transaction costs. The subscription price in the Rights Issue is SEK 240 per ordinary share.
Arcam AB, listed on NASDAQ Stockholm, and a leading supplier in the Additive Manufacturing (“AM”) field, announces that its powder manufacturing subsidiary AP&C in Quebec, Canada, received ISO13485 certification. The ISO13485 is particularly designated for the orthopedic implant industry. In addition to the new ISO13485 certification, AP&C is already certified to ISO9001 and AS9100.
Arcam AB, listed on NASDAQ Stockholm, and a leading supplier in the Additive Manufacturing (“AM”) field, announces that its powder manufacturing subsidiary AP&C in Quebec, Canada, today officially inaugurated its new cutting-edge facility in Saint-Eustache. The manufacturing plant will welcome 106 new employees by the end of the year, making it one of the largest employers in the region and marking a significant growth for AP&C, which has quadrupled in size over the last two years.
Arcam AB, listed on NASDAQ Stockholm, has received an order from GE on 10 EBM systems. GE, which is the company's main owner since November 2016, will use the systems in different companies in the GE Group. The systems will be delivered in 2017 and 2018. The order value is about 100 MSEK.
